The Lowcountry Chapter sponsored two sporting clays shoots at Backwood Quail Club recently to help members and their guests "tune up" for dove season.

The shoots were well attended and everyone had a great time!  Special thanks to Chris Thomas for handling the food at the first event, and Clint Lemon for feeding us at the second event.  Beverages at both events were generously donated by Miles Crosby.

Lewis Classes were calculated by the Backwoods staff after the scorecards were collected.  Nine lucky shooters, 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each of three flights, received prizes at both events.  Prizes provided by the Chapter were Surefire Flashlights, outdoor chairs, Chapter logo shirts and shotgun shells.

Here are photos from the shoot held on August 10, 2003.
