15-year old, Joseph Brown participated in our 1st Annual Wheelchair Hunt at Nemours Plantation in 2005.  Joe suffers from a congenital degenerative muscle disease called Friedreich's Ataxia.  He has limited usage of his legs and can walk for short distances using a cane, but he will be dependent on a wheelchair by the time he is 20.

Here is a report about his recent bison hunt made possible by the Outdoor Dream Foundation.

If you would like to contribute a hunt or make a financial donation to the Outdoor Dream Foundation, please contact Brad Jones at  864-260-9786 or outdoordreams@charter.net

Hey,

Sorry it took so long to send this e-mail.  My mom got a new camera for Christmas and I couldn't figure out how to get the pictures onto the computer.  Attached are the pictures of the buffalo that I took on December 31st.

I went down to Anderson, SC and hunted with the Outdoor Dream Foundation.  It took three shots with my 7mm/08 to bring him down.  The buffalo weighed about 1800 lbs with about 800lbs of meat.

I filmed the hunt so next time I see you guys I'll show you the video.  For Bruce and Buddy, in case you aren't sure who this is, it's Joe from the Scotts place South Carolina Disabled Sportsmen hunt.

Bobby I don't have Buddy from the Cockfield Plantation's e-mail address, so if you can, please forward this to him.

See you guys later,

Joe
