Low Country Chapter "Adopts" USA Shooting Team Member, Lindsey Hollin

"I have been very busy since I left the lowcountry.  Your generous donations have given me the finances needed to seek assistance from some amazing coaches like Dan Schindler and Josh Lakatos.

Lindsey with Shooting Coach, Dan Schindler at the Social Hall Fun Shoot

Most of the Low Country is familiar with Dan and his excellent Paragon School for Shooting.  Training with Dan Schindler has helped me improve the mental side of the game which is said to be the most difficult to master.

My other shooting coach is Josh Lakatos.  Josh is a veteran of the Olympic shotgun sports.  He won a silver metal at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta.  Josh has been an asset in helping me shoot to the best of my ability this past year.  With the help of Josh and Dan I hope to be one of the top competitors in this industry for years to come.

Along with new coaches there have been many other exciting things to report in my life.  I have a new job, home, training facility, and outlook on life.

I moved to Harper which is in the heart of the Texas Hill Country.  It is about 65 miles northwest of San Antonio.  I have a top of the line International shooting facility right next door in Kerrville which is about 20 minutes away from my home.  This shooting facility host the next Olympic Selection match in March 2008 and also a World Cup in May.

My new line of work is in Banking.  I work for Wells Fargo in Kerrville.  My employers are very supportive of my shooting, and have been very accommodating in working around my shooting schedule.

I am very excited about the improvements in my shooting and my life.  I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for all the help and support needed to make reaching my goals possible."
