On September 9th and 10th, 2005, Kenny and Jay Jarrett hosted Zachary Elliott, his father, Tim Elliott and Doug Becker on a deer and wild hog hunt at Cowden Plantation in Jackson, SC.

Zachary lost his lower left leg to cancer last year and has made a remarkable recovery.  Unfortunately, he did not get a shot at a buck or a hog, but he did see a trophy buck and a huge hog in the distance during their Saturday morning hunt.

Zachary is preparing to leave for the hunt of a lifetime in New Mexico on September 24th.  He will be hunting trophy bull elk with Mick Chapel of New Mexico Professional Big Game Hunting, Inc.  Mick generously donated the hunt to the Outdoor Dream Foundation.  We wish Zachary luck on his hunt in New Mexico and look forward to his Hunt Report and photos when he returns.

Kenny explains the history of his extensive arrowhead collection

A highlight of Zachary's trip to Cowden Plantation was a tour of Kenny's "Jarrett Museum."  Kenny is an avid Civil War buff and collector of indian artifacts.  He has amassed a very impressive collection of Civil War memorabilia and weaponry which is displayed alongside his magnificent collection of arrowheads and spear points.  The Museum also contains an impressive collection of mounted trophies from Kenny's hunting adventures around the world.
